Prepare for severe weather with new safety resource page

To help workers and the public prepare for severe weather incidents, OSHA and the National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) released new safety resources. The new severe weather page provides information about hazards, preparedness and response/recovery tips. The preparedness page provides additional guidance on evacuation planning, emergency supply kits and more.

The National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH)

NIOSH provides safe travel resource for small businesses

A new toolkit from NIOSH provides resources for small businesses to prepare for safe international travelling. NIOSH identified that smaller businesses lack the support from a larger HR team, so the toolkit helps to fill that need. Travel is designated into three stages: pre-travel, on-travel and post-travel, and the toolkit gives step-by-step guidance at each stage to help workers plan for international trips.
