Louisville, KY (WorkersCompensation.com) - The Kentucky Workers' Compensation Educational Association (KWCEA) Board of Directors has announced that its 2018 conference was a great success and enabled the organization to raise $16,000 for Kids' Chance of Kentucky. KWCEA President Bill Faris issued a statement this week thanking the Sponsors, Exhibitors, Attendees, and Volunteers for making this successful outcome possible.
Over the past five years, KWCEA has totaled more than $100,000 in Kids' Chance contributions.
Kids' Chance provides post-secondary education scholarships to children of Kentucky workers who have been killed or suffered catastrophic injuries in work-related accidents. All net proceeds from the KWCEA Annual Conference benefit Kids' Chance of Kentucky. Participation in the conference helps make a difference in the future of many deserving young people.
KWCEA has announced that the 2019 conference will be held December 12 and 13 and will be held at the Louisville Marriott East.
