Groups file lawsuit over recordkeeping rule Three public health advocacy groups have issued a lawsuit over OSHA's suspension of the submission deadline for Forms 300 and 301 data. The groups state that the agency did not follow proper protocol including publishing a notice in the Federal Register and opening a comment period.

MSHA opens applications for safety grant MSHA is now accepting applications for its Brookwood-Sago Mine Safety Grants Program. The agency will provide up to $250,000 in grants for developing mine safety education and training programs. Applications are due by Aug. 23.

The Texas Department of Insurance emphasizes five tips to reduce drowsy driving including getting enough sleep, avoiding alcohol and sedatives, talking to a doctor, staying aware of signs of tiredness and creating a driver safety program.
