Camarillo, CA (WorkersCompensation.com) - WorkCompCentral announces the keynote speaker for the 2018 Comp Laude Awards and Gala. Ben Nemtin will kick off the conference as the featured keynote for the group. Nemtin is a New York Times #1 Bestselling Author who started an inspiring movement that encourages individuals to realize their dreams and help others.
Ben and his friends Jonnie, Duncan and Dave started "The Buried Life" in their parents' garage in 2006. They made a list of "100 things to do before you die" and for every list item they accomplished, they helped a stranger do something on their list. Since then, they've crossed off "#53: Make a TV Show (on MTV), #19: Write a #1 New York Times Bestselling Book, #67: Sit with Oprah" and have encouraged millions to believe that anyone can do anything. Ben and his friends have 13 items left on their list and are currently crossing off #91: Make a Movie, producing "The Buried Life" feature documentary film.
The annual event will take place Oct. 9-11 at the Manchester Grand Hyatt in San Diego, CA.

Much-anticipated events include (but are not limited to): The Comp Laude People's Choice Awards, a series of TED-style presentations where the audience votes to select the best speaker, more than ten hours of networking time, the coveted Comp Laude Awards ceremony, and an island luau.
The conference features speakers from across the industry and 50 exhibitors. Additional speakers will be announced shortly. Proceeds from the event benefit Kids' Chance of California and the David J.
