Columbus, OH (WorkersCompensation.com) – Ohio employers could see double-digit reductions in their workers’ compensation premiums if the Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation has its way.
On Thursday, Jan. 25, the Ohio BWC announced that it had asked its board of directors for an average of a 12 percent reduction in private employer premiums. If approved at the BWC board’s Feb. 23 meeting, the new rates would go into effect July 1.
