Washington, DC (WorkersCompensation.com) – The US Supreme Court won’t get into the debate over joint employment, as it chose to deny a review of DirecTV v. Hall.
The court’s decision lets stand the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) employer test that was adopted recently by the 4th Circuit Court. The 4th Circuit’s ruling strayed from other courts’ tests and some claim it puts the bar too low for establishing joint employment.
