Raleigh, NC (WorkersCompensation.com) – North Carolina’s retirement system director wants the state to turn to the families of dead state employees who received too much money from benefits, reports said.
According to the Raleigh News and Observer, Steve Toole, Executive Director of the Retirement System Division of the North Carolina Department of State Treasurer, asked his staff to recoup overpayments from estates, if possible.
