SC County Councilman Seeks Smoking Ban to Protect Customers and Employees
North Myrtle Beach, SC (WorkersCompensation.com) – A Horry County, SC councilman is backing an ordinance that would eliminate smoking in parts of the county, saying it is needed to protect customers and employees from secondhand smoke.
The ordinance would ban smoking in all public buildings including bars and restaurants, in the unincorporated parts of the county. Horry County is home to Myrtle Beach and its surrounding tourist communities.
