On April 20, 2016, the Florida First District Court of Appeal rendered a decision in Miles v. City of Edgewater Police Dept.,190 So.3d 171 (Fla. 1st DCA 2016). Eight days later, the Florida Supreme Court rendered Castallanos v. Next Door Company, 192 So.3d 431 (2016).
