arrange treatment beforehand. line up a doctor who will take california work comp. notify the carrier that you need an out-of-state physician and who you want authorized to treat.
you may have to return to california for special medical exams - and legal hearings if necessary.

I'm with 1171, as long as You make Arrangements before the Move, and the Move is Necessary for Your Family's Well Being, You should be O.K. Do You have an Attorney?? You May want to Double Check with Them also. If not, and if You have a Decent Adjuster, hopefully it will go Smoothly! My Very Best to You!!Wink

I don't think state disability payments prohibit out of state travel as long as disability status is maintained.
unemployment benefits are another matter.

you're welcome.
