I got my facet injections yesterday
#11
I had tried the injections before with little to no relief but now they do RF to help with them. Never had to do them for my right side but last week we did the medial branch blocks on the right side. Next month they will do RF for it.

Manley2 and monster..... As long as I showed some kind of relief from these last ones --RF-- is thier next option... I have had a lot of relief thus far, untill this morning working... We had a 200+ mile route go down...driver never showed (he is fired) but we all took a share and covered it but I had to use a car to do some areas.. Thats the first time I have been in a car since Nov-2007 (accident).. I'm in lots a pain and have been in bed all day untill now.. I have vicodin for these kind of days but I have to drive 3 am and wont be done work untill 1 pm tommorrow...

Bronco I had the facet injections in the lumbar area and they very much helped me.

I went to the mall shopping the day after the injections, the first time in 2 years.

I go to a pain specialist on the 31st of this month and they have already started talking about these facet injections on me. I was a bit freaked out and decided to just cool my stress jets until after the eval with the pain specialist. No need to get too freaked out until someone says I need to do it. In the meantime I am starting to read more about it and appreciate everyone's input on the subject. Bronco I can't believe you CAN change a tire at all in any amount of time. I have always been a do it or die girl but now I think the doing would kill me.

Things have changed alot in the last 3 years that these were posted.. I have always had a strong upper body and at this time I was still some what able.. But 3 years later I dont know if I would even try anymore, it wouldnt be worth 2 days of pain...
