work injury

Rolleyes
UPDATE !!!!! (Michigan) Yes I still Have L thoracic outlet, have reinjured it multiple times since last post, and managed to injure R shoulder, was strung out like a old GI Joe doll, in the spring. Managed to twist my entire lower back, while trying to compensate with my lifts at work and re-injured the Left in the last two weeks.....
I offered to do another job, (no lifting) for 3-6 mos to give my arm a break, Employee health now is making me go to a IME for a function test. Chiropractor has done some great work to help lower back and L leg. PT and their exercises help very little. Should I be worried?
Word around is my employer, will get rid of you before they will reassign you..now I am not so sure I want to go-have I opened Pandoras' box. My PMR MD refuses to sign me off, making the whole situation one complete vicious circle-any plausible suggestion would be helpful thanks....SadSad

serious long term injuries & conditions often leave workers with permanent restrictions that make it difficult to continue in their current occupation. Michigan workers comp program does include vocational rehabilitation benefits.

The workers' compensation laws and many other laws are different in each state, so if you do not want to provide your state then you will not get a legitimate answer. The answer to your question depends on the state in which the workers' compensation claim was initially filed.
