If you sustain an injury while at work is it automatically covered by workmans comp?Even if it wasnt directly related to something at work machinery/hazard ect...While at work I turned quickly, tripped & dislocated my knee cap.I had this happen many years ago,but not as bad & had no med treatment. So I have no medical history of previous injuries. My employer dosent think he should have to pay w comp.because it was my fault in his opinion.I live in MS.Any info is appreciated.

workers comp is "no fault". as long it was done in the performance of your job workers comp should provide benefits.
File a claim. neither the employer or employee gets to decide what is paid for or not.

........Each state has their own comp system; POST YOUR STATE to get accurate information. Use the search feature to find information from similar questions.
