OK, we've been fighting with the Insurance company going on close to 2 years since my Wife filed for WC. The case is done, and it was ruled in my wife's favor, now we are just waiting to hear about what doctor to go see.
My wife tried to setup an appt with her Hand Doctor, but he would / could not see her (Maybe WC....don't really know) Anyway, she emailed her atty, and asked what she needed to do about seeing a doctor. The atty wrote back saying that he had filed a motion to change doctors.
My question is, I thought the WC insurance chose the doctor for the injured party to see. If that is the case, then we never found out who that was, either from our atty or the WC ins. If we never heard, why is he filing a motion to change doctors.
I just want to know if his filing is a complete waste of time (Seems like a lot of what we have been doing is a complete and total waste of time) or did the atty decide to file the motion because He did not like the doctor the WC Insurance company chose.
Any information would be appreciated. Thanks
