wrist and arm
#1
i work in nevada and was hurt on the job last week. i am a caregiver and do alot of transfering. last week i hurt wrist and arm (left). went to the doctor and all. first visit doctor splint it and a 5 lb restriction. i went back to doctor and still hurting and swelled. this time restricted to not use left hand and arm. i was to work one handed. and started physical therepy also. found out there is a couple bumps around tendons. twisting of wrist is limited. talked to boss and she said we don't have anything for one handed. so here i sit. my question is what can i do about my loss wages. i am willing to work but employer will not find anything for me. i would like to know where i stand at.
thanks for help

have you filed a claim with WC? if you have and your place of employment has no light duty then you should get TTD (temparary total disabilty) pay until you can go back to work.....

"Immediately notify your employer/supervisor of the injury or at the onset of an occupational disease and ask to fill out a Form C-1, Notice of Injury or Occupational Disease Incident Report. Fill out the C-1 completely, sign and date it. The employer/supervisor shall then sign and date the C-1. You have 7 days to complete the
form."
from the link i posted.
yes the C-4 is doctor's report and the C-1 is the employers report. either/both will start the claim.
