One of the purposes behind WC covereage, is to protect the employer from a civil law suit.
I am lost as to what your second question is. It could be due to my evening meds. Can you explain further??
8-05, Micro laminectomy/disectomy. 10-05 lumbar fusion L5-S1. 2-07 exploritory surgery. 12-07 medical implant, Spinal Cord Stimulator. now receiving SSDI. After going back to school, I received my degree as a mechanical engineer. What can I say, it was the only way I had to beat the system.

As I hear, even if you sue and if you have been getting wc payments. WC gets there money back.
Im sure someone who knows more about it will be along to answer.
