Has anyone chose to use one of those "lawsuit cash advance" companies that you see on tv or the web while your waiting on your settlement? If so what was or is your expirence? or what do others think about doing that?

I have not used any of those Co, But have heard that the interest rate will eat you alive.......

I agree with Tuffy I think they charge outrageous interest.

If you have an Attorney you may want to ask him/her as sometimes they have a fund to help out there clients, or can make suggestions.

I would be careful as you know there is many bumps in the ic. How do you even know what you can borrow, if you have no idea what the monetary amount would be? I have no idea what my settlement will even come out to.
My friend did have a wc doctor that she borrowed money from and never had trouble. She ended up with a settlement amount of 56,000. She fell on a mat at the entrance of her workplace and had ankle surgery. So i would really make sure you know what you are going to be getting as a settlement before you borrow money.

we went to one our lawyer set it up.....the catch is the interest is hi butttttttttt if you dont get a settlement you dont pay it back......If one of these companies will loan you the money you can bet you are gonna get something we took it to keep from losing our home.......3 months before settlement...... so please think twice and then think again to save your home is a good reason......to buy xmas gifts is not a good reason cuz the interest is loan shark high

Sorry, in my post i accidently said my friend borrowed from her wc doctor. I meant from her lawyer. I myself do not think it is a wise idea unless like Jayne said, so you do not lose your home. Anything other than that i would think it would be foolish.
