ITs Done, all settled!!
#1
Big Grin
Well I am finally done with the work comp system. I signed papers earlier this month and will receive a check today or tomorrow.

I could have taken it to trial but I know that the employer would appeal if I won, and if I did win, how much longer would this have been going On?? Way too long for me. It has been since summer of 2003, that my claims started. I had wrist, hand, shoulder and back injuries.
I could have ended up with more, or less, or same, but all would have been a monthly check, and I would have to rely upon the wc insurance for meds and doc visits, and I have been through that, and want no part as I know I would be fighting them every step of the way to get medical help and meds, and I just will not go through that again!

Now I am just waiting to get on SSD, which I had a hearing earlier this month, and attorney stated it would be 60 days or longer before we get the judges decision.

A special thanks to BadBoy, who has helped me tremendously. I will hang around as usual and put in my 2 cents worth occasionaly.
Wish you all the best, and hope all ends well for everyone here.
wishes for a pain-free day!

Congratulations Annoyed, I wish you well and completely understand your reasons for type of settlement. WC is not fun to deal with, and it's only going to get worse. Happy holidays to you and your family.
