New Employee Injured at work today-California
#11
the quarantine has played havoc with most staffing and workloads. you should be experiencing a similar affect in other areas of business, medicine, education, public service, worship, etc.
no area of everyday life has been left untouched by 6.61 million US citizens infected and 196,000 deaths --- with many many more to come. are you aware that this is not a normal time?
expecting you and your fiance' not to be inconvenienced during this time is unrealistic.
I don't know what the issue is as far as coverage but waiting a couple of days for an answer does not seem to be unreasonable.
Try to be patient, understanding, and positive.
Anger and frustration will make the injury and its effect on both of you much more difficult.
if he needs treatment right away, he can always go to the emergency room.
be patient and don't be surprised if he can't be seen immediately.

i realize venting and complaining is sometimes necessary when one is without information and in relative isolation but don't let it dominate your interactions.

be well.

I’m sorry but you misunderstood, our frustration is with the back and forth of who is responsible not when to get treatment. We scheduled the mri for next week pending the “who is responsible” he called his boss and got “unavailable can’t talk right now message”. Work comp adjuster said “get the mri done to determine if there’s an injury or irritation to the pre-existing injury”
