I was directed by my manager in NYS to do a moving job at the CEO's home and was injured.
The companies workers comp insurance in claiming I was not hurt while on a site. I was instructed by my managers to do this job for the CEO. Am I still covered under the workers comp ?

I would also file it with his home owners insurer.
If the company has denied you claim your can file an appeal with the WCB

Thank you for your response.
Recently my case was adjourned because of this reason, I should have also mentioned his. I slip on ice and was injured my shoulder at the CEO's house, after we moved this heavy saw from the house location to another location, it was there I badly injured my neck and back reloading another heavy saw in which we brought back to the CEO's house and the team did the bulk of moving it.
I was directed by my company's manager, I think I'm safe but not sure. My lawyer that is representing me at this case is not worried as much as me. Can I possibly sue the CEO ? What are the chances this being dismissed ? How can I find this scenario in the NYS Workers Comp Laws, where do I need to look ?
Thank you for all your help

By the way, before the case was adjourned, the judge asked for the CEO's home owners insurance indicating it might be the homeowners fault and they might wanna get a IME as well.
