Report it to your employer and get treatmen.

Did all that. I have surgery tomorrow. I’m very worried about loss of wages because I just bought my first house and haven’t even made my first mortgage payment yet. I obtained a WC attorney to assist in any and all steps I may need to take. I haven’t even been told when and where my surgery is going to take place. When I called the hospital of the hand specialist they said they will call me to inform me what time to be and where. Is this typical protocol ?
Thanks in advance

In most states its not typical to get an atty before there is a dispute. It is typical depending on location to have to wait to be notified of surgery schedule.
All states have maximum disability weekly rate and some have duration limit.
Contact your creditors and advise them of your disability status; most will work with you.
