Hi I was injured at work. I had 2 surgeries:
shoulder surgery (labrum, SAD and clavicle excision)
Cervical fusion c4-c5 and c5-c6
My shoulder impairment rating was set at 3% total body
My cervical was set at 5% total body
My cervical motion is terrible
5 degrees cervical flexion
10 degrees cervical extension
10 degrees Left lateral flexion
5 degrees right lateral flexion
Left rotation 20 degrees
right rotation 20 degrees
He placed me into the DRE model for the neck at a level 2 After reading the AMA guide i believe that I am not qualified to use the DRE model and must be placed into the ROM model. With my motion I believe my cervical impairment would be 20% plus any percentage for radiculopathy. If I did qualify for the DRE model I believe that I should be in category 4.
I am currently looking for an attorney to help. They take forever to return phone calls.
