Hello and many thanks in advance for any help. I am located in Massachusetts. I have been on workers comp for about two weeks now waiting to see a spine specialist. I just received a letter from my claims case manager requesting that I sign and complete a Medical Authorization Release Form. Should I sign this?

its your choice. they can suspend/delay benefits if you withhold or falsify your medical history.

Thank you for your response. Considering I need the benefits guess I’ll be signing.

They only pay for medical conditions caused by the job and they don’t have to take your word for it.
