Is it legal?
#1
Is it legal to stop your comp check before you even get back to work after they said you are at your MMI? Even if work fails to acknowledge you have been released to go back, or put you back to work?
If so what takes place after that? How do I go about getting my rating from the Doctor?

It’s illegal not to pay you for the ttd period up to your MMI date.
Your atty and the court will get you rating and share it with you.

They have paid me up until my MMI date. What I mean is now I will be without pay and my employer has not told me as of yet if I still have a job there or not. I was released to go back with no restrictions. I guess I just wait and see if I have a job or not.
By law does the employer have a time limit to respond to whether I have a job or not? IT has been 12 days since MMI, although I was paid up until yesterday TTD. I have not seen my MMI rating thus far, and attorney has not contacted regarding if he received it yet or not.

fmla gives you 12 weeks of job protection.
if you have paid into your unemployment acct recently you maybe able to draw some.
of course you can always look for new employment.
