Hello all, I have just reached my max biweekly benefit of 400 weeks. I live in New Jersey and I am asking is there an extension or something within the state or insurance that will extend benefits or other benefits. I am nowhere near finished with my surgeries so what will happen now. I have an attorney but she doesn't seam to have any concrete answers. Is there anyone that has the same situation that can shed some info about this. I get Social Security disability but that isn't the answer. Thank you

If you are not a state employee, New Jersey allows private employers to offer disability insurance for their employees. You may have such benefits available. More here

With no disability insurance you can try general assistance.
