AA just up and quit. Did not notify the court .Did not return file to his client . Nothing ..just quit!!
Is there a process here ?

You can substitute yourself or another atty.
You can file a complaint with the state bar.

Are they obligated to notify the court ?
I know they should provide a file back to the client.
Crazy ..he got mad and just quit.

Generally they file a withdrawal notice.
