You are not required to buyout your medical.

hello 1171, srry to bother again, , i was told that the impairment rating which is 13%, was worth 3x13x 2/3 weekly wage,my question is , is that total compensation or are impairment and ppd separate monetary values added at the end?

Not a problem.
Permanent partial is in addition to any temporary that is due; they are paid separately.

Hello 1171, update...well it seems my atty is not satisfied with the impairment rating, she tells me she doesnt believe that i am at mmi, since the last doctor suggested facet blocks and Si joint injections, since those wer'nt on the initial claim, she says she is gonna file for a DIME review, she said i should be start receiving money from the impairment rating, any idea on a time frame as to when i should start receiving some type money, or will the DIME review delay any type of payment? The IC isnt disputing the rating, i'm sure theyre not gonna want me to see another doctor.... Also, what would be a moderate estimate for future medical? just wondering in case my atty decides that a settlement would be better. (she kinda hinted at that the last time we spoke)

Atty fee is a % of settlement. If medical is included it's obviously going to be much higher so attys generally focus on total buyouts-- avoiding court and negotiating lump sum. Future medical needs vary greatly among patients, conditions, general health, access to care, parts of the country, success & failure rates, etc. there is no one answer for every case or even similiar cases-- too many variables.
Talk to your doctors about whats needed. If it's a big concern for you, let your atty know upfront you want open med; it makes a difference to how much time and effort they'll put in.
I don't know when the carrier will mail you checks.
