Partial Permanent Disability
#1
In Sept, I completed forms to increase percentage for Partial Permanent Disability for right foot drop and bilateral hearing loss.   They subsequently send me in Nov to doctors to evaluate for this increase which I completed.   Both doctors justified the additional increase.  Today, I have gotten word that in OH laws were changed on 12/8/16 that IWs are no longer entitled to Percentage of Permanent Partial Disability additions to their claims.   My increase now is denied.   The letter said I can appeal.   Is it worth?   What course can I take?

whether its worth it or not depends on how much you have to gain. you never reported what the additional benefits are worth.
you should contact a work comp atty to see if there are any exception for which you might qualify.
Reminder :
........Each state has their own comp system; POST YOUR STATE to get accurate information. Use the search feature to find information from similar questions.
