My state is Illinois settlment was ok;ed and everything is signed by all sides 2 monthes went by no news from anyone called lawyer no answer for week then texed going back to court wont give me reason or return call. Why would we have to go back to court if all was agreed to.

Terms of settlement has to meet Illinois comp law. That's why court has to approve all settlements. The court has questions/ issues with the settlement as filed.
If they could not get adequate response then they schedule a hearing/ conference.

Been fighting my case over 8 years agreed to MSA which was pre approved by medicare then we agreed on lump sum settlment have had trouble from my lawyers thru all of this and had tried numerous times to get new one but never found anyone to take over the case when I tried to look up the date he gave me for court its not on the docket unless they use diffrent arbitrater. just scared of losing every thing after all this wait.
