Yoga breathing for anxiety and depression video


Pain can cause extreme stress and anxiety. My yoga teacher told me many who have pain stop breathing correctly as you tense up and do not take in as deep of breath as you would normally do which exacerbates everything.

 I previously thought yoga breathing techniques was a bunch of bologna, until I actually tried it.What helps me the most is sitting upright and just taking deep breathes in and out through my nose and try to get as much air into my lower lungs as possible. This does help me with pain, stress and anxiety.
