I am a 40+ hvac duct work installer in Oklahoma .
Ilast winter I hurt my shoulder catching a falling hard hat.  After 2 months of PT ,2 MRI's , stariod injections and 6 months of wasted time . the ortho said I had a torn bicep tendon . went for surgery and found that it has fully ripped free and can not be fixed . doing my job I lift hundreds of pounds over my head all day.  Has anyone ever had this happen and still been able work in their trade ? What kind of settlement had people gotten for this kind of injury ? Mind you I make $30 an hour and I do have a lawyer. Thanks

"Settlement" is really just additional disability payments based on your impairment rating.
The higher your rating the more weeks you are paid. The maximum rate is much lower.
