MMI @ 5% whole Body Impairment rating
#1
I am currently considered MMI @ 5% whole body impairment rating. My doctor has reviewed my evaluation and said it was crap how a Chiropractor did the eval for my back. I have a Herniated disc and pinched nerve. Any suggestions on what I could?
The insurance adjuster said I would receive around $5600.
Should I get a attorney ?

Arizona requires the use of the AMA guides 6th edition for rating permanent impairment.
have your doctor write a report pointing out where the chiropractor deviates from the required rating principles.
if the carrier refuses to abide by it, file for a hearing with the arizona comp board.

at least talk to a few attys before deciding.
let them see a copy of the chiro report before deciding if its wrong.
your doctor may not be an expert either.

each state has different comp rules.
you posted on swat455's arizona thread.
what applies in one state does not necessarily work in another.

you can get more information about Texas comp here:
