SDI Form 2500A Certification for Cont. Benefits. Please help!
#1
State is CA.

I have been on SDI since March 2015. On 7/27, they issued my last payment and sent me a notice, said that I need to re-certify by filling out a 2500A form, and turn it in not before 8/7. I did, electronically on the 8/8. I just checked the SDI website it said that I should continue getting my payment between 7 to 10 days from the date EDD receives my form (8/8/15).

Well today is 8/18, don't see or hear anything yet. Any thoughts? Before I drag my feet down to the EDD office where they have double layer security, and I feel like a "criminal" walking in that building!

Please Note: on my claim it said my Expected Return to Work date is: 08/08/2015.

If I need to give EDD a little more time, and am overreacting, please bare with me, when it comes to this kind of income I am very anxious if it's not clear!

Thank you!

Has your doctor continued to give certification of your disability?

You should be able to call state disability to check your check status. They also have an on-line feature in the state disability website. You need to make an account but I do not know if you can get this info online.
I am not an attorney.Anything I write should not be considered legal advice.I am writing from my own personal experiences, which is not from any sort of legal background. You should consult with an attorney over legal issues. In California, if you cannot get an attorney you can consult with an I&A officer.
