Aprox PPD rating for DDD Lumbar Disc Replacement
I have had this claim go on a bit but long story short 2 years ago I got injured and had a Hernatied Lumar disc. Then beacause of l & I slowness surgry was put off a bit & had another MRI to show I had a Degentive Disc about 9 months after injury. Finally had surgry 1 1/2 years later, a lumbar Disc Replacement. Thought all this I have had nerve pain & weekness in both legs. Also had 2 injections. After surgry reflexes mostly came back but still have nerve pain and weakness. Also had an FCE & have been Permantly restricted to my job of injury and will not be going back. Out of 17 years of working aproxmenly 15 years doing the same thing. With the other 2 years being first jobs starting at age 15. I've just been assigned a Vocational Consoler. I have also recently expirenced more intense nerve pain while seated. 
Should I make apt with dr. Again? And what are usually the Total Body Impaments for a DDD with lumbar disc replacement? I see so many different things. Different ways to rate. Iam in Washington State. Thanks.
yes. you need to keep your restrictions and condition updated.
your permanent impairment is rated individually and not based on a general diagnosis or the treatment you've had but on your particular limitations and restrictions. that way every patient gets a different rating that fits their situation and unique impairment.

Thank you I seen this and could remember where. I also heard but could be wrong that there's a cap including timeloss for certain states.
Are they 2 separate things? Example of what I heard, time loss already paid $100000 and PPD rating puts me at $75000 and the cap is $100000, I get nothing. Another cap is $100000 and time loss paid $75000 and my PPD Rating puts me at $50000, is only get $25000 or is the cap something different or does not aply is Washington state? Thanks.
