I shattered my tib fib and dislocated my ankle in Alabama. I am going in later this month so the Doctor can fuse my ankle, he has said that there really is no other option. Due to the fact that I am to young for a ankle replacement. Doctor has also told me that I will have to find a job where I can sit all day. I do not have the schooling needed, and will have to go back to school. Should I expect to get compensated for school, and should I be getting a settlement?

no Alabama has no vocational rehabilitation benefits.
you will be eligible for permanent partial disability benefits in addition to your temporary disability and medical treatment.

Thank you for your feedback. Should I be trying to file a partial disability with the SSA? What could I be expecting as a settlement? Is it the 300 weeks at the rate that I'm being paid now?

SSA has different criteria for determining benefits but you can try.
yes, the rate is the same but the weeks vary depending on the extent of your disability. a doctor will determine your rating percentage when you have reached maximum medical improvement.
it's only 300 weeks for unscheduled ratings.
the schedule is here
