Seeing new doctor
#11
http://www.ratemds.com/doctor-ratings/32...GO-CA.html

I have never heard of him. These are some reviews, but I do not take full stock in on line reviews. If your attorney picked him from a panel, I am sure he was the best choice available out of the 3 doctors listed.

Since this is a QME, you will not be treating with him. He is ONLY there to see what injuries are work related, and give you a PD rating. He does not make any medical treatment decisions. You should be able to still treat with your other doctor, or actually your attorney should have you seeing a primary treating doctor within your insurance carriers MPN...unless your injury is denied. Do you know why you are being sent to this QME are they denying any body parts at this point?
I am not an attorney.Anything I write should not be considered legal advice.I am writing from my own personal experiences, which is not from any sort of legal background. You should consult with an attorney over legal issues. In California, if you cannot get an attorney you can consult with an I&A officer.

I any of those reviews are correct, I would bring something to read as his office has a wait.

Good luck.

Good luck.

California_help the doctor for my QME Is Jeffrey S. Schiffman, I see him on the 26th. So my question is, is a QME just to get a rating or is there something special for a QME?
