Hired guns that get paid between 700-2000 per body part they write the report for.

They paid the first doc that did my IME $5000. And his report said nothing was wrong with me. Only good thing is it was completely wasted money

Thank you but this is for the injured worker fraud hotline and not specific for fraud from an IME.
Or so I have been told when I called.

that's not what the law states:
“…any person, insurer or authorized agency having reason to believe that another has made a false statement or misrepresentation or has knowledge of a suspected false statement or misrepresentation shall, for purpose of reporting and investigation, notify the Insurance Fraud Division of the Office of the Attorney General of the knowledge or belief and provide any additional information within his possession relative thereto.”

it is clearly not limited to injured worker fraud. you were mislead. file a complaint with the supervisor of the person you spoke with.

also contact your state or local representative for help in getting a complaint filed.

you can also file a complaint with the medical board
