I received a Notice of Ability to Return to Work via regular mail AND certified mail. Is there any reason for this? Within the text of the notice it says that "You have an obligation to look for available employment". What does that mean? My doctor cleared me to return to work, but did not clear me to drive. I live in PA.

how you choose to get to work is your business not your employers.
it means they are going to request the court to stop your benefits since you are not prohibited from working.

In PA the Notice of Ability to Return to Work alone does not stop your benefits. At a minimum the defendant would need to file a petition, and unless there is an opinion of full recovery, additional action such as a job offer or earning power assessment would be required before the defendant could even file a petition. Make sure your attorney is aware of the notice, and if you do not yet have an attorney, this would be a good time to consider getting one.
