Light duty

I'm in California and I was wondering if anyone has an answer, if the employer has sold the business and the doctor puts u on light duty, does workers comp lower the benefits?

maybe.
it depends if the light duty restriction is temporary or permanent and whether it is available or not.
ownership changes are not a factor in benefit determinations.
