Carpal Tunnel Claim
#11
injuries that are denied would be treated under your health insurance like other non-industrial conditions.
your attys opinion is just an opinion and not a comp court decision.
you can still have the court decide even if your atty does not think it will be successful.
you may have to switch attys.

I am worried that I will not win my case. My lawyer cannot find a specialist to agree that my injury is work related. I asked the hand surgeon myself if there was even a possibility my carpal tunnel was work related and he replied that he doesn't get involved in disputes. It was just a yes or no question. My lawyer believes we are finished. I can't believe this is happening. I don't know what to do besides try another lawyer. Any other suggestions? One more question . Can anyone in my company intervene with the IC to get my claim approved? It seems like I am getting support in the workplace but not from the company doctor.

why don't you want your health insurance to cover your treatment?
whomever handles your company's insurance could contact the carrier; is there a risk manager?
of course the president, owner or CEO could also intervene.
