Quick question about Lumbar injury, rating, and state disability

Also, your friend is currently working, so unless they make less that in the other job, there may be no, or very little TTD
As far as a rating, that is done By testing by both your attorney's doctor and the IC's doctor. You then will be given a rating, and your state will have a guideline of values.

1171 can help you with that link.
Speaking of 1171, he wasn't being smart with you, just frustrated in being unable to help you

As a last thought, there is no settlement in WC, so put that out of your mind, your goal should be to be recovered as best as you can back to normal

There is a award so to speak if you are disabled, and unable to work, but lets hope you don't have to go there.

It is out of my mind. I went through my own thing with myself. Finally settled and was very happy with the result, thank god. This is for my friend. I told him the same thing but I was still just trying to give him an idea because he is making less and struggling a little. I am already aware of the award amount from a rating and completely familiar woth the chart of new Jersey. I have one myself to look at for eacg year. I was just wondering on the rating number itself and what you typically see for that type of injury. I know lawyers go odf history and just thought you woukd have an idea also from personal experience, others cases on here, or other. Thanks for your time and I appreciate you trying to help. Maybe someone else has had some experience dwith lower lumbar injuries and ratings. Thanks again
