Quick question about Lumbar injury, rating, and state disability
Unknown, every Insurance carrier has it's own set of rules they play by. If I were to guess, I'd say they will spend the least amount possible, or start from day of approval.

Also, your friend is currently working, so unless they make less that in the other job, there may be no, or very little TTD
As far as a rating, that is done By testing by both your attorney's doctor and the IC's doctor. You then will be given a rating, and your state will have a guideline of values.

Speaking of 1171, he wasn't being smart with you, just frustrated in being unable to help you

As a last thought, there is no settlement in WC, so put that out of your mind, your goal should be to be recovered as best as you can back to normal

There is a award so to speak if you are disabled, and unable to work, but lets hope you don't have to go there.
