BACK IN 2011 I HAD TO GET SURGERY DONE ON MY SHOULDER DUE TO WORK. THEN N 2012 I HAD TO GET ANOTHER SURGERY CUZ THEY HAD TO GO BACK IN AND REPAIR BUT ITS THE SAME SHOULDER AND THE SAME COMP CASE. DO THE INSURANCE CARRIER HAVE THE RIGHT TO SUBTRACT WHAT THEY PAID ME WEN I WAS OUT ON COMP FROM MY AWARD FROM THE SURGERY IN 2011 AND 2012? OR DO THEY SUBTRACT FROM THE SURGERY I HAD IN 2012? IT WOULDNT SEEM FAIR IF U GOTTA WAIT A YEAR OF YOUR SURGERY TO TAKE YOUR SCHEDULE LOSS OF USE THEN THEY TRY TO SUBRACT WHAT THEY PAID U FROM BOTH SURGERIES INSTEAD OF THE MOST RECENT ONE U HAD!I NEED SUM HELP PEOPLE. CAN SUM TRY TO MAKE ME UNDERSTAND??

you're welcome.
all permanent impairment benefits paid on the shoulder work injury will be used to pay your overall shoulder rating.
this prevents someone from getting over the maximum from too many injuries.
if the same rating from one injury or 4 injuries will give both the same number of weeks.
you don't get more impairment weeks because of the number of injuries or surgeries; it's the rating that determines the weeks.
