#1
Hello all. I destroyed my ankle back in 2010 had surgery returned to work with missing cartilage know I would be surgery down the road. We settled on stipulated medical. I have been back about a year and a half. Ankle is giving me problems it is time to have that surgery done will be recovery anywhere 4 months to a year. Who pays lost time wages?

Thank you for the help.

each state has their own laws.
whether you can restart TD would depend on your states time limits.

you are limited to a 104 weeks of TD within 5yrs of your injury date.
since you have had an award that fixed your disability (TD &/or PD) you will need to file a petition to reopen for new & further.
unless you have aggravated it at work and have had a new injury.
if you had an atty on your first award, they are still your atty of record and you should contact them.
