Oklahoma rolls back Worker Rights in comp
Worker rights in yet another state have fallen to Republican legislator's onslaught against workers compensation benefits.
the key component allows employers to opt out of coverage -no longer making comp insurance mandatory.
Oklahoma joins Texas as the only states to make workers pursue lengthy civil actions against their legally uninsured employers.

The new system applies for accidents occurring on or after February 1, 2014.
Reminder :
........Each state has their own comp system; POST YOUR STATE to get accurate information. Use the search feature to find information from similar questions.
Now how sweet is that. Hope there is some nice settlements for the injured in the end. wonder if that makes it a no fault system if they can also sue them for things like unsafe condition.
I doubt it Manley,in the game of big business be you "D" or "R" if you are a worker bee you are going to get screwed.
........I love cats, I just cant eat a whole one by myself......

I'm sure we will. Trouble is even with the rules in place to have the coverage we still get screwed.
