Pain Management Doctor in Maryland
#1
Hi All,
I am 6 months out from my third back procedure.

My doctor thinks I will need to be "medically managed" as I am in agonizing pain.

anyways I got referred to a pain doc but the staff were rude, he didnt spend any time with me, and he is a half an hour away from where I live.

I googled a few docs but before I move to another doc I want to hear if anyone is seeing one that actually spends a bit of time and they are happy.

Hi,
My primary care doctor recommended Dr. Martin in Bowie. The practice is aimed at the needs of workers comp patients. I really like it as my pain is under control and I can actually function.

Its a tough road getting better after an injury but you will get through it if you find the right doc for you.

Best of luck!

Hi All,
Jayne I have heard a pain doc might be better as they are more specialized... I figure might as well get the specialist.

Dr. Martin looks good as I am living in Crofton. Is she the one with LifeStream health on Mitchellville rd? I found her connected to that clinic I think...
