Hi im new to this I was released to go back to work to full duty by my primary doctor. But my Qme stated that most likely i wont be able to return to work. Now from what i was told my benifits are cut , i do not qualify for disability nor unemployment. So where do i go now? I asked my attrny he said defense attrny is waiting for report of restrictions from Qme it has now been 3 months with no income. Where do i go from here im trying to go back to work but i havent heard anything. I was told to apply for light duty but i cannot find anything . I think my employer is letting other jobs know im on workmans comp. Any suggestions as far as still collecting benifits?

you did not post your state.
each has different rules.
sounds like you have reached maximum medical improvement.
if so, you can apply for unemployment.
what makes you think you can't?

you can request permanent disability advances. it won't be much. you'll have to get a job within your restrictions.
otherwise you'll have to contact the county and apply for emergency aid & food stamps,
