I went to cash them this morning at my bank, same bank these checks are drawn off, and was unable to because of an alert on their account. The bank wouldnt explain the alert, they got the managers involved, tried to call people, but in the end, they gave me back the checks and said they couldnt cash them. The insurance company is Sedgwick Claims Management Services. Anyonr else having these kinds of problems???

as the name implies they are not an Insurance Company.
they adjust claims-usually for a self-insured employer.

file for a penalty.
alert the state department of Insurance.
if they can't pay their bills, their license can be suspended.
call your employer-they may have to make the checks good.

I was able to cash the checks this morning. Apparently theyve had problems with their account.( bouncing checks, etc) so everytime I get one, theyre goin to have to go through calling someone and verifying the checks before theyre cashed.

Now going on 3 weeks with no word on Surgery. Slightly annoyed considering they were hounding the doctor about why he hasnt performed it thus far, and now
they want to drag their feet approving it. Have a follow up with my lawyer Thursday, hopefully then I will have some news. I just want to get this done already!

if you settle, make them bring cash before you sign.
they should still be reported.
