My company Worker Comp Company wants to offer a medical trust instead of the lifetime medical benefit Virginia Worker Comp award me. I would like to know how this works since the doctor has finnally said i have reach MMI I do have Spinal Cord Stim implant and take meds for RSD which was a secondary medical condition i got after a bad right ankle fracture and dislocation of my joint in my right ankle. I now have pins, plates, and screws in ankle. if anyone can help me understand the different between the two,

are you referring to a Medicare set aside or some other arrangement?
will it be funded with a one time payment or structured payments or is that negotiable?
will it close out their liability?
if it does and I suspect you have potential high cost medical, you might benefit from professional help i.e. work comp experienced atty.
have you had a life care plan done?
