Doctors restrictions
#1
I was wondering how long after MMI do the doctors restrictions last for? Does the PD rating only used inside workers comp or can someone use it to get SSI? I'm trying to get an accomodation from my employer but not sure if my restrictions will be considered, because I closed my work comp case. The MMI report did not state how long the restrictions will stick with me .

if you are at maximum medical improvement restrictions are generally permanent-that's why they call it permanent disability.
SS disability insurance has it's own requirements- PD ratings are only for workers compensation benefits.
Reminder :
........Each state has their own comp system; POST YOUR STATE to get accurate information. Use the search feature to find information from similar questions.
